- This all plastic pollen collector hangs at the entrance of a hive supported by two small “L” hooks. At this low price you can try something that you have always wanted to do…collect your own pollen.
- The specially designed collecting screen can be raised (taped into position) or lowered to collect pollen. No dirt or hive refuse will enter resulting in cleaner pollen. You must collect daily and avoid rain showers.
- Can be adapted to all types of hives by using a wooden frame around the trap (not included).
- Other support structure may be necessary to fit your specific configuration.
- Attach to hive with anchoring screws.
- Does not damage the body, legs or wings of the bees.
- Two small holes on the sides allow for the queen to exit during mating season.
